I grew up eating groundhog, raccoon, and an occasional possum and muskrat. I missed it when I joined the army until I lived in on post housing in Missouri. Lived in the last apartment on the edge of the housing area with a big yard that bordered a big ditch and woods. Always had groundhogs coming into the yard and wet set in the bedroom and shoot them with my .22 with shorts so it wouldn't make any noise.
