You have not stated what tractor this engine is in,and I am not familiar with the differant models of the perkins 152,however I have rebuilt the 3a-152 engine used in the MF 35 even tho it is a fairly easy one to do I would definately advise to obtain a engine manual before you undertake the rebuild.On the one I did it was neccessary to counterbore the block because the sleeves were changed and the pistons were semi-finished and therefore had to be milled.
