B&D, your "up to their rears in aligators" story is dead on LOL. About the only good reason I can see for the delay is up "here" in North Dakota where it has gotten near 20 below every night these last two weeks, is so those who have ignored the alligators can do an antenna upgrade in June instead of February. Going to be hard on one local station though, (KMOT ch 10). They spent two hours last week, trying to save cost by going cold turkey to digital. Said they had the new digital equipment in the same building and shut down the analog transmitter, moved the cables to the new digital stuff and cranked it back up.
What do they do now ? They do not have equipment in place to run both the analog and digital transmitter at the same time. Personally I hope they just stay digital and let the fools scramble to get their TV's set up. They have had at least a year to get it done.
