I just replaced one last weekend in my 95 half ton. It's totally accessible from inside the cab. Take out glovebox for better visablity. Take all the screws out of sound cover and yank straight down and out to the left. Throw it out the door as far as you can. Do not re-use it. My replacement motor was painted black instead of galvanized, like the original, so it does'nt show as bad.
