I've done that with an old Allis backhoe that I had. Use plywood to enclose your rops and then cut windows out as needed. You can only get plexyglass in certain sizes, so you need the plywood to enclose the rest of the rops. I just screwed the wood to the rops post with sheet metal screws and then bolted the plexyglass to the wood. Make the holes in the plexyglass oversize and use fender washers. You do not want to overtighten the bolts. The plexyplass needs to be able to barely move or else it will crack at the mounting point. For the windsheild I used a steel frame and put regular glass in it. Paint everthing and it will hold up to years.
