Mine is a little newer, a 2005 Duramax 4wd extended cab with Allison trans- 75,000 miles. With ladder rack, tool box etc., 14 -16 mpg. Just finished getting both front hub assemblies replaced (it sounded like I was being followed by a helicopter everywhere). I rarely go off road, so I wasn't too happy about that. Steering shaft had too much play in it, was also replaced. Other than that, its a great truck. Hope this helps. Ed
