I'm supposed to be doing income tax so I am trying to avoid it for a while.

Answer is. true

How long is the yellow lines on the HWY's

answer is most folks guess three to four foot. when we measured with a tape they were 18 ft. about ten years ago is the last time I measured

How tall is a standard ten gallon milk can with the lid off?

answer is most folks say thirty to thirty six inches. real answer is twenty four

Can you cut off a flys head with a butter knife? a live one, no glue trap, no tricks?

answer is yes, It works best when there is spilt food on a picknic table etc. and they are determined to be there. Take a butter knife at 90 degrees to their head / body, and the trick is to go rather slow and steady. I guess they see a fly in the reflection, and pay no attention. I have won many chocolate malts on that one.

How much weight can a single strand of baler twine--the old type hold? Like holding a cement block from a tree branch.

Answer is alot for a little while, then it starts spining from one way to the other and unwinds the string in less than ten munites.

How much longer can I goof off before doing my tax preperation.....no forget that last one..
Answer is the sherriff will explain it again this year, as well as the judge.

If you tip a full glass if water up against a unpainted cement block wall at five foot how many ounces of water will hit the floor?

Answer is not a drop, the block will suuuck it up.

If you twist a flat belt on a tractor of 50 hp, and hold it together in your hands can the tractor start the load? Like a WD 45- or a A JD, or a M Farmall.

Answer is no, my dad used to do this at silo filling time and the prowd neighbor with his new powerfull tractor. Straddle the belt at the crossing point, place your hands on both sides of the belt, and press your hands with your knees. You will burn a clutch out before starting the load.

All these questions may supprise you!

Hope some one found this ammusing on a cold winter day.
