Columbus, Ms. Have 2 large pecan trees. One in front has smaller pecans than one at back of house. Wife and I picked up just over 300 pounds from tree in back. Have 10 trees and even the small trees had pecans. One soft shell tree, no idea where it came from but picked up 50 pounds from it. Everyone in our area had bumber crop. Man here charges 35 cents per pound to crack and blow. Took ours 20 miles to next town and had cracked and blown for 10 cents. I sit and shell while watching tv at night.
