Back in 74 we got hammered with a big one on a thrusday and went on into mid day friday . I had been out plowing from the start of it and being that friday was the night for the trip to the local watering hole I got a couple hours sleep and headed out to the bar never took the plow off . Well my one buddy and i were the first to get 4x4's in 73 and just about everybody was buying 4x4's in 74 . Well this friday evening the roads were still bad and the street and parking lots were looking like a four wheeler convention . As usual Hendron's is packed know just about everybody there and a group of us were always pulling some practical joke on each other. Well a bunch of us were talken about this one guy and about his new 3/4 ton cheve 4/4 and i don't remember just who said someting about the fact that i had the plow still on mine and that we should go out and bury Ernie's truck well i had just about enough antifreeze in me and out the door i went got the ford fired up and started pushen snow in front of the Pea green cheve 3/4 ton 4x4 and i was wright proud of the job that i did as i had stacked snow up just about ten foot high all around this PEA GREEN CHEVE . Well Ernie was having a good time with some nice young ladys and we all just stayed on the one side of the bar waiting for Ernie to leave but Ernie was like i said having a good time with the ladys and it was getting late and Ernie will surely be leaving soon as Ernie HAS TO MILK COWS IN THE MORNING AND IT IS GETTING LATE . Well they called last call and we all got one more round waiting for Ernie to leave , when he finely get up and says good by to the ladys and heads out the door . We all run to the door to see this take place and what is this he is not going across the street to the Pea green truck he is walking down the street and gets into his monty and drives off . Well never in my life have i ever left a almost full drink setting on the bar but that night you would have thought a stampede took place as all of us praksters were tryen to get out of there before whoeven owned that pea green cheve went to leave We never did figure out just who owned that truck but it sure was not Ernie's..
