There is a good number of round balers made to be run with tractors in the 40HP range. Most are 4X4 but other then being a smaller bale they are pretty good. I would stay away from the older chain balers because they do take more HP to run. I do though run a NH850 behind my Oliver Super 88 which as per neb. test is 55HP and it plays with it. I have even run it with my Oliver 77 which as per the test is 38HP and it did ok if the hay was just right
