Boy, I'm going to add a new twist to this. I screwed around for two years with one that acted about the same. Finally found the problem. Fly in the gas tank. Was getting just enough gas to let it idle but not enough to run wide open throttle. Take the sediment bowl off and slip a rubber hose over the tube. Blow through it up into tank so you will clean any thing out of stand pipe in tank. I know this sounds to simple but honest that was my problem. It don"t cost any thing to try this first.
