just depends on what you can get the work done for.If the ins. co. totals it it will have to be state inspected before you can legally drive it again. A little word of advise don't settle until you are happy you might be surprised what they will give you if you just tell them it wasn't his fault and it is their responsibility to make you happy with the end result. My wife was rear ended several years ago they gave us more than the car was worth loss of wages for me and her because I had to take off work 2 days the day it happened and the next day for doctor visit and her a couple more days while she got over the whip lash. When the ins. adjuster offered I told him we needed to talk about it and that we wouldn't sign ANYTHING until I was satisfied!!!
