Old original question was do you think they should ------- I am very surprised I didn't hear someone say how about a demonstration that you can drive! Well believe it or not my grand daughter got her drivers license and didn't even take a drivers test. My son-in-law had taught her to do everything including parallel parking so she could pass the drivers test. They went there and the person behind the counter ask who taught her. SIL said he did. They said well sign here to certify that you taught her, and that was it, she got her license. Of course she got a learners permit about a year earlier. She actually took a test for that. I really can't understand why they let the kids not have to demonstrate they can drive.
