Just caught an earful about a new law that requires lead certification for products sold for use around kids. Local news took the slant that it would put the recycle, used clothing stores out of business. Thinking it's going to end a lot of cottage industries making clothes, toys, children's furniture too. Wife sells wool fleeces, roving yarn and hand knitted products from our shetland sheep, angora goats, llamas, and angora rabbits. Wondering if this is going to put us out of business too. We sure can't afford to have a lab certify our stuff lead free, although it probably is very lead free.
