Boy, I'm thinking that's the intake manifold gasket problem. Unless you abuse the heck out of that truck, I highly doubt you burned a valve. When the gasket starts to go, they will start eating oil and running bad. Perform the TSB per the link below before you get excited. You could end up spending lots of money on a simple problem......
