Well, i think i found my problem with the B. The top terminal was VERY corroded, cleaned that out, shortened the wires, put it back together and got a really nice blue spark off of all 4 cylenders.
Ive opened up the thermostat, cleaned off the mating surfaces, and stuck it back together with silicon gasket stuff, and ive made some rubber washers for the top of it.
But theres another problem. In my infinent wisdom, ive somehow overlooked a carb linkage. I need the thing that goes from the govener linkage to the carb itself on an Allis B. Anyone got one??
I thought i had one, but both the govenor linkage and both ends of it were male. One of them apperentially has to be female.
