How big are the stumps. I have paid for stump removal when I built my home. I paid a guy $1000 to clear a home site with a mid size excavator. (it took several hours) He dug the stumps out and buried them. Biggest one was about 8" in diameter. mostly small stuff. This cleared site was about 4000 sq. feet.
It would cost a lot of money to do what you need. I would recommend calling a guy with a large Cat dozer to bust them loose and push them to the side of the field. It may take a 2 weeks to do this at $60/hour.
