It is not the governments job to create jobs. It is up to the private industry to do this. The government has never created a job that didn"t wind up costing more than it accomplished. No $$$ for scrap is not going to help. Just another way for them to raise taxes. And with the media in his pocket they will report just what he wants them to. Just another play from the old FDR playbook. Remember the fiasco the WPA was. FDR did not get us out of the depression WWII did. Not saying I want another war to solve this issue.
