My 562 has only safety switch on gear shift, if yours has one on clutch it should be around the pedal somewhere that the pedal or linkage makes contact. Check voltage on starter solenoid, first on cable from battery. Then with switch engaged check the lower cable, should be same voltage as upper cable. If not check for power from switch to solenoid. If no voltage bypass neutral safety switch and see what happens. Be careful and don't get run over. OK, if there is voltage on battery cable to solenoid, voltage to solenoid from switch and none to starter motor from solenoid the solenoid would be bad. Voltage to starter but doesn't run=bad starter.
