Don't use it 'raw', it's chock-a-block full of weed seeds. Compost it first. Composting generates heat, which kills at least some of the seeds. Mixing it with green matter (lawn clippings are ideal) and other animal waste (sheep or llama is good if you can get it, low odor, and high in nutrients). Use chicken manure sparingly, it's high in nitrogen, and can burn plants or overheat the compost pile. At a guess, chicken manure should be less than 20% of the total.
