You might ask the farmers (aren't the words intrinsically tied together)in the area about the parcel in question (might be hard to know who's a farmer without knowing what's a farm); if they don"t consider it a "farm", it"s probably a farmette, ranchette, mini-ranch, hobby farm, the place where them city folks moved in a few years ago, etc. Local doctor (M.D.) moved into a new house on about 30 acres about a half mile down the road from me. Buncha' kids with geese, llamas, exotic birds, new fwa tractor, etc. Is he on a farm? He may think so, but all the farmers around here think he"s that doctor who moved onto the old Arnold place...........which usta to be a farm, but no longer is.
