One easy way to see if you have a drain is to use an amp clamp but not every one has one of these. Another way is to unhook you battery cables, make sure everything is turned off then hook you charger up to the cables and see if you charger gives you any reading. If it does you may have a short or stuck relay.
I told a man to do this once on his bobcat loader that he worked on for 2 days and couldn't find the problem.
He hooked up his charger and seen that it was drawing 25 amps then I asked him what would draw that many amps and we both deicided on the glow plugs. The glow plug relay was stuck and some of his glow plugs were bad.
