Very true, the japanese will pay threw the nose to keep the customers quiet and not report it to the news. Parts for Japanese cars are expensive. A good friend of mine had a 1986 Mazda Rx7 and the parts were real expensive, $400 for a starter, a brake job was over $600, Fuel filter expensive, oil filter expensive. In the end even IF you get a higher quality Japanese car the parts will cost triple of a USA car and all Alternators, starters, brakes have to be replaced in time. The Rx7 lasted 150k miles and it was junked.
