I'm not 100% certain but I believe you can drive the load shaft thru just enough to replace the seal, then drive it back thru the new seal to replace the one on the other side, if its like the seals on my cousins 2030, which he pulled the whole shaft out and didnt' have too, was a bear to get back in. I would bet that they would be the same but you can check with your local deere dealer in the service dept or maybe someone else here has more info.
