Yeah...your felt like seal on the door is gone. More than likely came out in little fluffy chunks and you did not notice it. Problem is, some it is still in spots on the door and allowing air to pass thru when shut. Remove the blower motor...just drop it down, and see if you can feel the door thru the motor opening. If you can, just rub off the remainder with your fingers. It will not be perfect, but it will be a little better. My 96 has had a bad seal for years. I just put it in the position for floor and dash vents most of the time. I only defrost when it really needs it. Summer is the worst cause I can't get full AC out the dash vents...it comes out on the floor some too. Good luck...it's just a cheap plastic thing.
