I don't know a lot about electronics. Wiring head lights in series does blow my mind of why you still wouldn't have 12v to them. Remember the old Christmas lights wired in series? One go out and you had to check every bulb till you found the burned out one? Well would that mean on those Christmas lights, if you had a string of 12, would that mean you had only 9V to the bulbs? OR if the bulbs are like a resistor, wouldn't each bulb down the series have less voltage than the one before it? If so wouldn't each along the string be dimmer?
