Sound like yall were not trying to keep a business going in the Carter years. Auto makers were shutting down weeks at a time to let sales catch up to production. I can't make up my mind if I should feel amused or sad at all the comments that make it sound like this is new. I helped start a company in 1967 and we stayed away from Auto parts because of the ups and downs in that industry. I worked for a company from 1959 to 1967 that have very little Auto part for the same reason.
