Are you sure its a 380? I think most 380s were loader/landscape tractors and the 480s were the small sized backhoes. At least thats the difference I've seen in 380s and 480s. I could be wrong. We had a late 80s 480F hoe. To be honest, that was the best backhoe we ever had- Overall better than the 580 superk and 580M. Keep in mind you could move more dirt with the bigger newer models, but generally still a nice machine. Well balanced, reliable, Not top heavy, enough power, cheap to fix(not that anything but hoses ever broke), and not too thirsty. Good luck.
