: : I would like to know what the difference is between live pto and live hydralics? From what I read, having one or both is highly desirable. Thanks for some "expert" advice.
: >> "live" referrs to a tractor's capability of providing uninterrupted power via Power Takeoff and/or hydraulic function while transmision clutch (ground travel) is engaged, disengaged or in transition. In other words, PTO and/or hydraulic function can be INDEPENDENT from the transmission. These are desirable traits, for sure.

You've gotten good information. At the expense of sounding short, "live" PTO or hydraulic simply means that the PTO or hydraulics don't "die" and therefore continue to "live" or run when the clutch is pushed. God bless, John
