I have one of each. The TO30 has 30Hp vs 8N's 20, the Ferguson's parts are
slightly harder to get. But none are impossible. The 8N has position control
which is nice for blade work but the extra horse power will allow you to work
faster and run the mower better. Yes, I use the Ferguson most of the time.
8N is used for grading and pulling the trailer. Price...hard to say the 8N is
becoming a collectors toy, so price is usually about the same. At least here
in Upstate NY. yoou can't go wrong with either one.
