I bought a tractor a few years ago that had an 'oddball' carburetor bolted on (it wasn't the original carb which was supposed to be either a Marvel Schebler or a Zenith). Anyways, this is an Ensign carb, a lovely little piece of workmanship, the whole body casting is a single piece of solid brass or bronze. I've used it temporarily on another tractor and it works fine. Just thought I'd ask who made them and where they were made, and also what lines of tractors might have used them on their engines. This one has a 1 1/16" bore and was originally bolted to a manifold on a 4 cylinder Continental flathead engine.
