Is your gas line old? Sometimes they will partially clog from rust. Also take the sediment bowl apart and clean the screen. Don't forget to drain the gas if you decide to remove it first. Been there, done that. Also, rust or trash may be lying above the cut-off valve. After that I would check the carb. Take the filter out and see if it makes a differance. NAPA, etc. has the gas line (brake line). Is your gas cap properly vented?
