Just my 2 cents worth here,for what it's worth. If you're gonna build one,I'd go 24x36. Put a car or pickup in that 24x24 and you barely have room to get around in front and behind it. It'll matter if for some reason you want to jack up the front and rear to do a brake job or something. Yes,you'll do one end at a time,but you'll have to move it ahead or back to do the other end.
