I'm no Deere expert, but there's a couple 3140's around here, both MFWD's that have 260 loaders on them. There was a different set of mounts to put them on the 2-wheel drives. One of these loaders was moved from a 2 wheel; the other wasn't. The one that wasn't is equipped with 28's and 38's for rubber... I thought the only real difference between the 260 and 265 was the vintage. To give Deere a modest amount of credit once and a while, the 260 is a very good loader.
