As mentioned in the other posts, this can kill you. There are probably a dozen ways to get hurt doing this, and those are only the ones that come to mind quickly! I pulled out &^%$#@ mulberry trees from fencerows this week with a Super M, and it takes patience, persistence, and careful hitching of the chain. The drawbar is the ONLY place to hitch, and you MUST NOT try to YANK them out of the ground. I got one mulberry out that was over 8" in diameter, but it wasn't easy. If you can hitch the chain so it tends to TWIST the tree out of the ground, that will help. Have a long enough chain that it doesn't end up on the tractor with you!
