you could use conveyor belt like at a gravel pit[ they'll probably give you that size piece off one of their old belts] but a piece 10 feet long will be heavy, probably as heavy as the tarp if your using truck tarps, for a semi if your tarp is one of those like for a regular tandem dump truck it will be about twice as heavy, we use the stuff for mud flaps, floor mats , shop mats, emergency mat to slide under a piece of machinery ect, handy stuff and almost indestructible
