here in Upson county Ga. they have been in rut the last couple weeks I am sure the peek has passed but still a few chasing does. I have seen alot of deere this year but mostly bucks and I have already used my any size tag on a spike I shot while it was running. I only reacted thinking it was a doe but I still prob would have shot if it wasn't running I just want to fill my freezer. I saw 2 bucks the next week I rattled them in and thought they were going to fight in front of me but one was scared and the other was glad. 6 point and 3 point both young so no fall off cull. btw here we have 10 doe tags and 2 buck tags good for the whole season. I usually only get 2 or 3 but one year I got my quota and was able to share with family.this season if going to end at the first of the year so I gotta get hunting only 1 deer and none last year seem to be in a drought.
