It wasn't Bush, it was a group of economists that declare whether we are in recession or not. I think their ideas on unemployement are unrealistic. They are worried about 9 or 10% unemployment, I think they should worry about 20%. A lot of people in the last 20 years have become self emplolyed, especially in the construction and services areas. They aren't working and they aren't being counted. The system doesn't count people who aren't collecting benefits. The employement problem is grossly understated.
