They could of built 50mpg cars years ago if they had wanted to.Instead {by their own admission]They built big gas guzzeling road hogs.Lots of them are 4 wheel drive and never see the backwoods or even a mud hole cause they dont want to get it dirty.30yrs ago the VW rabbit got 45-50 mpg,US auto makers cant even get close to that 30yrs later.Nope,I dont feel bad for them,.they brought it on themselves.
