Gail, Have you done the obvious things like change the fuel and air filters and check for proper fuel flow to the carburetor/injectors? Some cars get really fussy about fuel pump pressure. You need a mechanic with a fuel pressure guage to check this. Does the "check engine" light come on when the car starts bucking? If so, you probably have an oxygen sensor out. I would suggest taking this car to a mechanic who has the electronic diagnostic equipment. Steve
