It was domestic, at least it didn't put up too much of a tussle when I carved it. My sisters and our kids have been getting together for Thanksgiving for about 30 years- getting a good sprinkling of grandkids now as well. A tradition that has developed is everybody brings their specialty pie- we wait a few hours after dinner, and have the pies for supper. Usually 8 or 10 of them, have a sliver of this, sliver of that.
Kinda sad at work, though- young coworker asked where was the best place to buy a pie for thanksgiving- Told her I really didn't know, as I had never eaten a boughten pie. She looked at me kinda funny, like, you mean, you can make a pie at home?
