Hello Andy, first thing to do is change the filter and make sure the gasket or seal is good on the filter cover. fill the hyd to proper level. Then you remove the plug on the rear side of MCV valve it is the small one i think it is 5/8 wrench. this will bleed the pump. some times you can do it just by cranking the engine over with the fuel shut off. some times you have to start it but it makes a mess. you want to get a good stream of oil out of the hole. if you can't get any oil out of the hole then i would look at your pump. That pump works the steering brakes and TA your hitch and remotes use a different pump. if you get steering back and after sitting you loose it again you can try overfilling the Hyd by 5 gallons. most times if you have a weak pump it will loose its prime.
