I thought it was a 1966. The government had a lot of the 1966 Chevys. They were all stick shift and were pretty good on gas. In 1974 when the oil embargo was still on they bought new 1/2 ton trucks with that 350cid engine with the AT. The truck should've had dual saddle tanks. Only could get 8 or 10 miles to a gallon. I think they may still have some. At one time they bought new trucks every 5 years and sold the old ones at auction. We couldn't bid on them, but that changed later. Hal
