My 77 Chevy C20 has 250000 miles on it.Road salt killed the chassis.Paid 1300.00 for it in 85.I put several exhaust systems on it, tires and brakes, starter and water pump.Easy to repair at home.Last good real trucks.My 96 F150 is loaded with junk items I dont need and very hard to work on.The Ford has 180000 on it with minor repairs.Putting a new oil filter on it is a nightmare.Just replaced the gas tank straps,lots of trouble with mixed metric nuts and bolts.Tank strap bolts are about 3/8s with 1/2 inch hex heads.Its plain to see Ford builds cars and trucks that are not repairable.My friends Ranger was a rusted mess under neath at 60000 miles.All spring hangers were shot and front end was gone.
