Guns can be a good investment. Buy quality and take care of them and many (most) appreciate in value over time. Many of us hunt. We hunt different things. Hunting different animals sometimes requires different types of weapons. Like so many things, I buy the best I can afford. Maybe later I can afford something even better. But I don't usually sell the FIRST gun I bought to make room for #2. I keep handguns around for personal protection. (Both myself and my wife have C&C permit) Depending on where we're at or where we're going, we might carry a small revolver or a bigger auto. Nice to have options.
Gun ownership is a constitutional right and a priviledge. In some ways it's entertainment and in other ways they're part of a lifestyle. At times some folks don't understand why a person would own 27 tractors. Some folks don't understand why anyone would have a case full of guns. Either way, it's a personal choice that I don't need anyone elses blessings or understanding.
I don't expect to change anyones opinion. I don't expect anyone else will change mine. But don't come knocking on my door trying to TAKE my guns or you're definately going to have a problem on YOUR hands.
