those are not hunters, those are drunks, out for a hoot,we have them during hunting season here, they get on area ranches and shoot at everything they see water tanks, tractors cattle horses signs, anything will do,several of my friends that own ranches have a new rule for these people if your on their land without their permission your going to jail they dont care why, there just tired of getting the place shot up, its their private land and yes they can do that, even if its thousands of acres of woodlands, now a 'hunter' is the fella or several who, come the opening of the season has spent several months of his free time studying the movements of deer, elk or whatever critter he has in mind to get, he knows where they travel, he knows where they water, he knows where their bedding areas are, in the area he can hunt, on opening day he is in the woods the nite before sober as a nun on sunday morning finds his animal takes it and is home with it by 2 pm so he can dress it out
