We just had some old fool in Toronto get "praised" by the media and the police. He turned in his Dad's 1916 German officer's Luger with matching serial numbers and original leather holster. In exchange for a digital camera "worth" $100 suggest retail price. Police praised the man for "getting a dangerous weapon "off the street"? A few years back some fool old women in Newfoundland who had been listening to the women's TV brainwashing shows. She turned in an officers pistol from the Titanic. Both these mistaken and other fools thought the guns were going to be either re-sold through legitimate channels. Or donated to museums. Not so, there historical antiques were cut up and scrapped.
