The good news is, the common stock can't go much lower; the bad news is, it won't get much higher, either, because any growth in value in the company will be sucked up in the guvment's preferred stock (if they do the bailout) or the "new" creditor's loans (if govt. doesn't bailout, the companies will go into Chapter 11, and you can bet they'll end up with a bunch of that AIG and bank bailout money, as any "new" loans to restructure get a super-priority collateral position). Read Mitt Romney's article in WSJ or New York Times a couple days ago- he hit it right on the money.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor.
