Are you rotating with RR soybeans every other year? Conventional corn might bo good.
Corn on corn, alternating LL and RR is a good idea.
Alternating with a non-RR crop, it sure is nice to get RR down every other year or so to keep a lot of perannuals (thistles, etc) knocked down.
Kinda depends what RU prices will do too. Used to be the thought was it is going up a lot this year as well, but now with other things dropping in price, maybe not so much.
Conventional corn can do well; you need to time out your herbicide a little better than just slopping on RU whenever a person thinks of it.
