I knew my Dad had at one time a John Deere chainsaw. It seemed to just disappear when he died, nowhere to be found. My uncle, who recently passed, had borrowed it and we didnt know he had it until yesterday. My aunt said it used it twice to cut down a couple of smaller trees, while waiting for his to be fixed, so I dont think he ran it much.)The trunks are still there, although pretty rotted) My problem is I cant find the owners manual in Dads "junk box", and the little tag on the gas cap is missing. It had the mix on it. Does anyone by chance know the mix for gas/oil on this chainsaw? I think it was 20:1. Im surpised this saw wasnt locked up. It has been siiting for at least 7 years, probably closer to 9.
